Assam Transport Department, Assam Recruitment 2020 : Car Inspector (MVI) Vacancy 2020 Under the Commissionerate of Transport, Assam beneath Transport Department, Assam.Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 26 automobile Inspector (MVI) vacancy. Transport Department, Assam Recruitment 2020 Name of post: automobile Inspector (MVI) No of posts: 26 [Un Reserved: 11, Other Backward Class/ More Other BC: 5, SC: 2, STP: 4, STH: 1, Economically Weeker Section: 3] Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- , GP: Rs. 9400 Age: 21years to 38 years aged as on 01/01/2020. The upper regulation is relaxable: (i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years. (ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

Transport Department, Assam Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: H.S.S.L.C. with 3 (three) years Diploma in Automobile or engineering from a recognised Institute of Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE. Eligibility Criteria: i. The candidate must have a PRC of Assam. ii. The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose as a symbol of residency along side the appliance Form. OR iii. The candidate must produce valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange within the State of Assam along side the appliance Form. Physical Fitness: (i) A candidate should have sound health, both mentally & physically and will be free from any organic defect bodily infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of his duties. (ii) A candidate is required to undergo checkup before appointment to the service.
