Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 169 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Vacancy & 387 Graduate Teacher (Arts, Science, Hindi) and Sanskrit Teacher in different Provincialized Higher Secondary Schools or Senior Secondary Schools under the Secondary Education Department, Govt. of Assam. 1.Name of Post: Post Graduate Teacher

No of Posts: 169 Posts

Educational Qualification: The applicant must be Post Graduation in concerned subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution but degrees obtained from off-campus and distance education institution shall not be considered as valid.

Pay Scale: Rs.22,000/- to Rs.97,000/- including Grade Pay of Rs.11,800/- per month with other allowances as admissible as per rule.

No of Posts: 387 Posts

• Arts: 224 Posts
• Science: 121 Posts
• Hindi: 29 Posts
• Sanskrit: 13 Posts

Name of Department: Secondary Education, Assam

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – Rs.60,500 including Grade Pay of Rs.8,700 per month and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 1st January 2021.

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be as follows-

• OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
• ST/SC: 5 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
• PwD: 10 Years
