Emoluments: Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under:

1.BPM : Rs.12,000 – 29,380/-

2.ABPM/DakSevak : Rs.10,000 – 24,470/-

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years on the last date of submission of the application.

1.OBC/MOBC : 3 Years

2.SC/ST : 5 Years

3.PWD : 10 Years

Local Language Proficiency: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard.

Knowledge of Cycling: Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate knowing riding a scooter or motorcycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling.

Application Fees : 100(Unreserve & OBC/MOBC) rest are free(Exempted)

Mode of Payment: The mode of payment of the application fee will be online. Applicants will be able to pay their application fee through an online payment gateway. Applicants can pay their fees using a Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, NetBanking or Wallet.
